Our two community-run farmers’ markets make fresh food available and affordable, while building our local economy and creating places for neighbors to meet and greet.
Since 1998 we have been providing fresh produce, handmade arts & crafts and a safe public space for families in East New York, Brooklyn. Our market is the only place in East New York to find local and organic produce and Caribbean speciality crops like karela, bora, and callaloo.
This year we are introducing our new concert series SUMMER SATURDAZE. Through out July and August we will showcase live music, dance, Art and Film Festivals, right here in the heart of East New York.
Come join us in our efforts to stop the senseless violence in our community by using the arts as a weapon. This concert event series will bring together over 20 artists whose work will inspire our community residents to take a stand against the reckless behavior that cripples our neighborhood.
Every Saturday: Homegrown fruits & vegetables including organic and Caribbean specialties; Fresh Fish (porgy, croaker, blue and salmon) and crabs; cooking demos and nutrition info; Handmade arts & crafts; CSA - Farm Share Pickup; Home cooked food & baked goods; Tours of our Youth Farm; Volunteer Days on the first and third Saturday of each month, 10 - 2; Children’s activities; Entertainment.
