A New Day breaks over the horizon, with it ends the ideas once permanent in
history’s yesterday.
We stand here as they did. Some looking for the possibilities a new day brings.
They marched from miles away to stand united as we watch him declare “I Have A
Dream”. Now we stand for change as they watch in admiration. Once painted black as
oil, today we are all painted red, white, and blur. A New Day breaks the horizon and
with it comes a new tomorrow.
Frantz Clervil is a young tutor in an Art Institute and a production manager of a media company in Brooklyn.
