Brothers in Madness

Brothers in Madness is a project of two brothers living in New York, has released their debut album called Joloj Khela. The album was released from two different labels in Bangladesh and United States. This is the first Bangladeshi album that was released in such way. The album Joloj Khela is represented worldwide by Mushroom Entertainment, Inc., a NY based underground label and in Bangladesh Fahim Music did the production and distribution. This was an effort of Mushroom Entertainment and BIM to introduce Bangladeshi music to the world.

BIM’s members are Rupom and Rousseau. They also collaborated with lots of different artists of different styles from all around the world. The duo started their journey of music early in their childhood, after moving to US they started recording their original numbers. BIM has been well known to Bangladeshi internet users since they released their two singles called Joloj Khela and Nilimay. After a long wait of four years their debut album was released. The album contains eleven tracks with one instrumental, two Najrul Geeti, one Loko Geeti, and seven original songs. All tracks were produced and composed by BIM. This album portrays a good fusion of Indian Classical and Bangladeshi Folk with Rock, Funk and RnB. The album Joloj Khela is available to buy as CDs and MP3s on the internet through most major retailers such as CDBaby, Digstation, iTunes, Rhapsody, etc. The CDs are also available in most music stores in Bangladesh. Their future plan is to do a lot of live shows with different guest artists and release another full length album by the end of 2010.
