Most neighborhoods of Brooklyn flaunt its cultural uniqueness. This is because of the area specific concentration of immigrants of different nationalities. Each neighborhood of Brooklyn celebrates a yearly summer street fair. This helps local artists and craftsmen to bring their work and sell. These fairs not only help in local economy but also bring a reason to celebrate. The city has a major calendar plan, coordinating which part of the city will be holding their fair on which day. If you share the same interest as mine you will find it entertaining to walk through these fairs discovering multiplicity of Brooklyn. Because of this variety the fairs never get boring. If you want to know Brooklyn a bit more closely, these fairs might be your place to know about culture, music and food of diverse Brooklyn population.
