Through Indian Eyes
part 2

    At the end of part one I had stated that I was going to try to be less scathing, I've since changed my mind, I will just tell you more truths and let you draw your on conclusions.

    Credit for much of what follows goes to a personal friend of mine Floyd Redcrow Westerman, who has since walked on to the spirit world on December,13, 2007. He was a great man who personally lived through much of what follows. I am just passing it along, to keep the truths alive.

   The Native American Holocaust and Immaculate Deception are the subjects for this round. Many Americans and people of the world are completely unaware that there was a Native American Holocaust. And that American Indians were placed in Concentration camps called Reservations. One could even go so far as to say that Hitler even got the Idea of concentration camps from the American government.

   Floyd used to speak of a time when the Indians were coming out of the concentration camps and being so happy to have nothing. Of a time he and his family used to travel by horse and wagon to visit others on the reservation. That even the horses and wagons came with conditions. The horses and wagons came from the Government and the Churches, how if you became a Christian, you got a hoe and shovel.
   And if you stayed a Christian and did well in the Church you could work up to a horse and wagon. So the Indians were being coerced into the Christian religion under duress. What just happened to freedom of religion?

The leaders and elders were smart enough to know that this was a way to survive and for their children to survive so they went along with the program. The Government and the Churches plan were to assimilate the Indians into society. There was even a time that no Native under the age of 50 was allowed to dance the Native dances, a way to keep the old ones happy and deny the young ones their traditions.

   Then came the boarding schools, basically military style schools to implement the assimilation. Along with the schools came the Missionaries. The Indian people were even doled out like so much livestock to the various religions. You 100 will be Baptist, You 100 will be Methodist, You 100 will be Catholic, etc. Unbelievable but true! All of this was part of the grand plan to assimilate the Indian Nations into society.

   Some of the tortures the children were put through could be called nothing less than atrocities. Just to name a few, having their hair cut to white standards, forced to take white man’s names. For something as simple as speaking their own languages, having their mouths washed with lye soap, and made to kneel and pray for hours with bags of marbles placed under their knees, beatings , starvation, and solitary confinement. All part of the Immaculate Deception, done in Gods name to save the so called savages.
   I think the Churches should be held responsible for what they did and make restitution and reparations. Recently the Vatican answered this with a simple apology that is not enough! You cant apologize away what you did! They should help reinstate language programs to teach the Native languages along with support money.

   Andrew Jackson became President of the United States, and typifies how the American people and its government wanted to deal with the Native People. The Cherokee people and other Indians had saved Andrew Jackson's life in a battle in Louisiana. How did he repay them?
   He moved all the Indians completely out of the southeastern United States on what is now known as the Trail of Tears, to Oklahoma Indian Territory, the largest concentration camp in the United States. Which still today remains the largest economic concentration camp for Native people in the world. The American people and its Government wanted to get the Indians out of the way and exploit their resources.

   The so called original Founding Fathers were really nothing more that the first Terrorists encountered by the Native people. Their grand plan was the remove the Indians and exploits their resources, which they pretty much succeeded in doing. A strange point of fact is that Billions of dollars of money collected over hundreds of years has mysteriously disappeared from Government treasuries.

   It any wonder that America has the most powerful, most technologically advanced army in the world. No other country could take such vast amounts of resources from its Native people and apply it to becoming the world’s most powerful army.

  I hope this gives you more food for though and things to ponder on.
Things will never change till the truths are known! I am doing my part to spread the truths and continue along the paths that Floyd Redcrow Westerman blazed ahead of me. He was a Great Warrior and will be greatly missed.
